Dr. Arun Philip did his undergraduate training in medicine from Kottayam Medical College, Kerala and completed his postgraduate training (MD) in Internal Medicine from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore during May 2006 - April 2009. Later he joined the Adyar Cancer Institute, Chennai for his superspeciality training (DM) in Medical Oncology in June 2010. During his three-year tenure at the Adyar Cancer Institute, he got trained in the medical management of various malignancies.

Dr. Arun joined Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in November 2013 and is currently serving as Associate Professor at the Department of Medical Oncology. At the department, apart from the routine work, he attends to minor procedures; bone marrow aspirations and biopsies, intrathecal drug deliveries, Huber needle placements. He is also actively involved in the academic activities of the department.

  • Cleared the DNB in Medical oncology conducted by the national board of examination.
