Dr. Kannan R Nair

Dr. Kannan R Nair hailing from Changanacherry, an Alumni of Medical college Kottayam, currently working in the capacity of Consultant urological surgeon and clinical associate professor in the department of urology and renal transplantations since 2009.

He has finished his medical graduation from Govt medical college Kottayam in 1998 and his surgical and urological training from Kottayam Medical College. He finished his fellowship in Robotic urology from Wirral University Teaching hospital Liverpool and is the recipient of the prestigious Gold Medal in FRCS Urology in 2018. He is a member different international societies like USI,SZUSI, KUA,BAUS &ICS.

His areas of interest are Endourology, Laser & Robotic stone and Prostate Surgeries, Andrology, Penile Implant Surgeries, Genito Urethral reconstructive surgeries for stricture diseases and penile problems, Urodynamics and functional Neurourology. He is actively involved in stone clinics, LUTS Clinic, pelvic floor and Functional nuerourology, MDT service, Penile implant and erectile function clinic offered by Amrita Hospital, Kochi.
