The telemedicine unit facilitated instant and free diagnostic tests, including ECG, X-ray, and blood tests, through the Disaster Management telemedicine Medical Unit.
During the medical camp, a total of 746 patients received consultations across various medical disciplines. These departments included cardiology, general medicine, general surgery, paediatrics, gynaecology, ophthalmology, and dermatology.
The clinical nutrition team from Amrita Hospital, Kochi conducted a tribal nutrition assessment. This initiative aimed to evaluate the nutritional status of the local population and provide valuable insights to help individuals improve their nutritional well-being.
In addition to medical consultations and diagnostic services, free medicines were distributed to those in need, ensuring that financial constraints did not hinder access to essential healthcare.
