 Dr. Vivek Krishnan is a pioneer in the field of fetal medicine, with an illustrious career marked by leadership, innovation, and academic excellence. As the Clinical Professor and Head of the Division of Fetal Medicine at Amrita Hospital, Kochi, he established the Amrita Centre of Excellence in Fetal Care, India's first comprehensive fetal care centre. Under his leadership, the center has revolutionized fetal care in India, catering to over 40,000 patients and performing over 70,000 scans and 10,000 diagnostic interventions, including groundbreaking procedures like fetoscopic lasers, EXIT, and FETO, some of which were the first of their kind in India. Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Vivek Krishnan is a renowned educator and mentor. He has trained over 40 fetal medicine specialists and contributed extensively to academic forums and research, authoring over 40 journal articles and influential medical resources.
