Dr. Ramachandran Narayanamenon is a highly experienced and accomplished surgeon specializing in gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, pancreatic, and multi-organ transplant surgery. With over 20 years of surgical experience, he is widely recognized for his contributions to advanced GI surgery,live donor liver transplantation and pioneering work in robotic donor hepatectomy in India.
Dr. Narayanamenon served for over 18 years at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, as a key member of the Solid Organ Transplant Unit. He was actively involved in adult and pediatric liver transplantation, pancreas-kidney transplantation, intestinal transplantation, and robotic donor hepatectomy—as part of one of the first and highest-volume programs in India.
