Dr. Akhilesh K, a highly skilled clinician, educator and researcher, with a vast experience of over 12 years, specialising in respiratory medicine at Amrita Hospital, Kochi. He is expert in managing a wide range of respiratory conditions such as airway diseases, complex tuberculosis cases, pleural and interstitial diseases and infectious lung diseases. Dr. Akhilesh plays a major role in public health initiatives. As Vice Chairman of the State Task Force, he helps the state's efforts to eliminate tuberculosis (TB).
