Experts from around the globe enlighten Amrita Hospital, Faridabad on the Psoriasis, in accordance with dermatology society of faridabad. The insightful session brought together leading dermatologist, postgraduate trainees, and healthcare professionals. An in-depth exploration of current trends and advancements in the management of psoriasis was addressed in the academic programme. 

The workshop was addressed by the distinguished guest Dr Srikumar Goturu, Head of Dermatology, at Amber Clinics, Dubai and Medical Director of Dr Joseph Polyclinic, Al Karama. The institution is known for its expertise in immune-mediated inflammatory disorders and infectious dermatology. Dr Goturu has authored many scientific publications and delivered numerous global presentations. His renowned collaboration with CDC Atlanta on genomic epidemiology of multidrug-resistant dermatophytes has gained significant recognition.

The session was co-chaired by Amrita Hospital’s Head of Dermatology, Dr Neena Khanna leading the discussion alongside other senior faculty members including Dr. Vichitra, Dr Bela Bhat, Dr Sachin, and Dr Rajesh. The event became more interactive and engaging with the presence of medical students from the ESIC Medical college.

The workshop followed a well structured agenda with two main panel discussions, the session began with a welcome address followed by the first discussion focusing on the “Nuances in the management of Psoriasis”. Discussion went on with disease severity assessment, individualized treatment strategies, and the expanding role in biologics in dermatology. Therapeutic choices for complex patient groups was addressed in the second panel discussion pinpointing on those with comorbidities, special populations, and psoriasis affecting difficult anatomical sites. The arena became enriched with diverse clinical perspectives from dermatologists from around the Faridabad region. 

The interactive nature of the discussions allowed participants to illustrate real experiences and to meaningfully dialogue on evidence-based approaches to management. This event provided a strong platform for academic exchange, collaborative learning, and professional networking.

The session ended with a vote of thanks, extending gratitude to all the speakers, participants, and the dermatology society of Faridabad. Emphasizing patient-centric care and scientifically driven practice, the Psoriasis Workshop at Amrita Hospital proved to be an enriching, valuable academic experience for all who attended.
