A 70-year-old severely obese patient suffering from critical heart valve blockage was successfully treated through a minimally invasive cardiac procedure known as TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation). According to the treating heart team, conventional open-heart surgery posed a significantly high risk due to the patient’s obesity and overall medical condition. Following a comprehensive evaluation by a multidisciplinary cardiac team, TAVI was selected as the safest and most suitable treatment option.&nbsp;The procedure was carried out successfully, and the patient showed excellent recovery with marked improvement in symptoms.
