
Dr. Subramania Iyer, Head of the Department of Head and Neck, Plastic and Craniofacial Surgery at Amrita Hospital, Kochi, has been conferred the Doctors' Day 2026 – Professional Excellence Award by the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Kerala State Branch in recognition of his outstanding contributions to medicine, exemplary clinical excellence, and dedicated service to society.

The award was presented by Kerala Health Minister K. Muralidharan during the Doctors' Day 2026 celebrations held at the Thiruvananthapuram Club.
