Children's Day celebration at Amrita Hospital for children battling leukemia was organized by the Clinical Hematology Department. The program was inaugurated by Dr. V. Manoranjini, the Principal of Edappally Amrita Vidyalayam. Dr. Mansoor Koyakutty, Chairman of Butterfly Cancer Care Foundation, Asanul Banna, Manager of Hope Child Cancer Care Foundation, Lions International District 318C Vice District Governor Shine Kumar, Ramakrishnan Potti, Royal President of Rotary Club of Tripunithura, Vinod K. Menon, Secretary of Can Serve Charitable Society Ambika Chandrakumari, Head of Clinical Hematology Dr. Neeraj Siddharthan, and Assistant Professors Dr. G Rama, Dr. Nikhil K Haridas, and others delivered speeches.

Teachers from Amrita Vidyalaya, who volunteered to conduct classes for children undergoing leukemia treatment in the hospital, were honored during the event. Various entertainment programs were organized for the children, adding joy to the occasion. The event also highlighted the Hemophilia Project, a collaborative effort between Amrita Hospital and Rotary Club of Tripunithura Royal. This project involves hemophilia diagnosis camps, awareness programs, skill development, and training initiatives aimed at providing livelihood opportunities for individuals with hemophilia.
