Amrita Hospital, Kochi proudly served as the Health Partner for Manorama HORTUS 2025, the multidisciplinary festival of literature, arts, culture, and ideas held from 27 to 30 November 2025. The four-day festival, inspired by the spirit of Hortus Malabaricus, brought together renowned writers, artists, thinkers, politicians, performers, and audiences from across the world to celebrate creativity and cultural exchange.
As the official health partner, Amrita Hospital ensured comprehensive medical support throughout the festival by setting up a fully equipped medical camp and deploying its state-of-the-art medical emergency van at the venue. The medical team offered on-site care, first-aid services, and emergency support to visitors, participants, and dignitaries across all festival venues.
One of the highlights of Amrita’s participation was an insightful talk delivered by Dr. Divyamol K. Sasidharan, Assistant Professor, Department of Geriatrics, on the topic “Life Expectancy and Human Desire.” Her session resonated deeply with the audience, exploring the intersection of longevity, well-being, and the human pursuit of meaning.
