In a landmark move to enhance healthcare access and foster medical education, Amrita Hospital has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Odisha Health University. The agreement was officially signed by Dr. Manash Ranjan Sahoo, Vice Chancellor of Odisha Health University, and Dr. Prem Nair, Group Medical Director of Amrita Hospitals, marking a significant step in the pursuit of excellence in healthcare. 

This partnership aims to extend Amrita's renowned expertise in medical education, research, and clinical care to Odisha, reinforcing the commitment to reach underserved communities and provide compassionate, world-class healthcare services. The collaboration will focus on several key areas, including the enhancement of medical training, academic exchanges, research in emerging medical fields, and improving access to advanced clinical care. 

Aligned with the vision of Amma, the spiritual leader behind the hospital’s ethos, the MoU is centered around the principles of compassion in action. Both institutions are dedicated to ensuring that no patient or community is left behind in the pursuit of better health outcomes. 

The signing ceremony was attended by several prominent figures from Amrita Hospital, including Dr. R. Krishnakumar, Head of Paediatric Cardiology, Dr. Brijeesh, Clinical Professor in Paediatric Cardiology, and Reshma S. A., Head of Marketing, who were all instrumental in the partnership.
