On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Amrita Hospital launched an Online Women’s Wellness Club to encourage women to prioritize their health and well-being. The initiative was inaugurated by Dr. Beena, Medical Superintendent and Dr. Radhamani, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
The club operates through a WhatsApp group, offering a platform for women to engage in health-focused activities and discussions. The goal is to empower women to take responsibility for their health check-ups and self-care. The club features a variety of wellness activities, including health screenings, wellness talks, balanced diet and nutrition guidance, yoga and exercise sessions, stress management Strategies, emotional and mental wellness support.
As part of the launch celebrations, an online healthy recipe contest was conducted. The winners were awarded gifts sponsored by Marriott Kochi. Women from the Amrita family also shared inspirational stories, encouraging participants to focus on self-care and holistic wellness.
