
Amrita Hospital, Kochi, has been honored with the Kerala State Pollution Control Board’s Excellence Award 2025 in the hospital sector for its outstanding contribution and commitment to environmental protection and sustainable practices. This marks the seventh consecutive year that Amrita Hospital has received this prestigious recognition. The award was presented by Kerala Chief Minister, Sri. Pinarayi Vijayan, at the AURA 2K25 International Conclave on Environment, held at Adlux Convention Centre, Angamaly, Ernakulam, on September 27, 2025. The award was received on behalf of the hospital by Sri. Rajesh R. R., General Manager of Environment and Safety at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences. Instituted by the State Government, the award recognizes organizations across various sectors for their exemplary efforts in pollution control, effective management of air and water pollution, energy and water conservation, CSR initiatives, and overall environmental protection.
