As part of a pre-conference event, the Association of Nurse Executives India (ANEI) took a step towards promoting patient safety by launching an initiative aimed at educating nurses on the Prevention of Medication Errors. The three-day training program reached an impressive 15,000 nurses across 14 states in India, highlighting the commitment of the nursing community to reducing medication errors and ensuring patient safety.
Amrita Hospital, Kochi, proudly participated in this nationwide campaign, training 1,063 nurses within just three days. Our nurses not only gained valuable insights into improving patient care, but they also took an oath to enhance patient safety, embrace continuous learning, and collaborate as a team to elevate the healthcare profession.
Amrita Hospital, Kochi stands out as the only hospital in India to train over 1,000 nurses from a single institution in this vital initiative. This achievement underscores our commitment to patient safety and the ongoing professional development of our healthcare team.
Amrita Hospital extended thanks to ANEI for creating this opportunity, and to all the nurses of Amrita Hospital Kochi who wholeheartedly participated in this campaign.
