
The RESPICON Workshop 2025 was successfully conducted at Amrita Hospital, Kochi, bringing together leading experts and delegates from across South India for a day of intensive academic learning and practical skill development in pulmonary medicine.
The workshop featured 11 expert faculty members and 35 delegates representing multiple institutions. Distinguished speakers included Dr. Anil Kumar Sapare (Bangalore), Dr. Somu Sivabalan (Chennai), Dr. Bindusha S (Trivandrum), Dr. Jijo Joseph (Thiruvalla), Dr. Vivekanand (Chennai) and faculty members from Amrita Hospital — Dr. Jayanthy Pavithran, Dr. Shilpa Radhakrishnan, Dr. Sajith Kesavan, Dr. Greeshma Issac, Dr. Benoy Jagadeesh, and Ms. Arya C. J.
The scientific sessions were complemented by four hands-on workstations, offering practical training in key pulmonary diagnostic and procedural techniques such as bronchoscopy, skin prick testing, FeNO measurement, oscillometry, spirometry, and lung ultrasound (USG).
Engaging panel discussions on contemporary topics in pulmonary medicine further enhanced the academic depth of the event. The interactive format encouraged dialogue between faculty and delegates, fostering collaboration and the exchange of clinical insights.
