Amrita Hospital, Kochi conducted a free medical camp at Amrita Vidyalayam, Rajasuryamadai, Ramanathapuram. The camp saw participation from 730 individuals from various parts of Ramanathapuram district, benefiting from services across multiple medical specialties including general medicine, general surgery, dermatology, ediatrics, pulmonology, cardiology, orthopedics, geriatrics, ENT, and gynecology. 

The medical camp, held on Saturday, May 25th, from 9 am to 1 pm, was led by a team of 45 members, including 17 doctors, under the guidance of Professor Dr. C. Sreekumar from the department of General Surgery, Amrita Hospital, Kochi. Separate counters were set up for different categories of treatment, providing free diagnosis and medications worth over 1 lakh rupees. Additionally, free X-rays, ECGs, CBCs, and other blood tests were offered to attendees. 

Amrita Hospital also brought a telemedicine bus equipped with state-of-the-art treatment facilities to the camp. Dr. Joseph Rajan, General Physician, Ramanathapuram,Dr. C.
