Overview
Amrita Hospital, in association with NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) under the Department of Space, is organizing a free epilepsy medical camp titled “Apsmara Santhwanam” with the support of the Lions Club of Thodupuzha.
The camp will be held on Sunday, December 21, at the Thodupuzha Lions Club Hall, located near the Thodupuzha Private Bus Stand.
Dean Kuriakose MP, Thodupuzha MLA P. J. Joseph, Dr. Anand Kumar (Head, Department of Neurology, Amrita Hospital, Kochi), Dr. Siby Gopinath (Head, Department of Epilepsy), and Dr. Merlin Akash (President, Lions Club, Thodupuzha) will participate in the inauguration ceremony.
The camp offers free epilepsy screening and pre-surgical evaluation services for economically disadvantaged patients. There will also be a “Ask the Doctor” interactive session for patients and caregivers to clarify doubts related to epilepsy.
