Dr. Praveen. G. Pai

Dr. Praveen G. Pai is a Professor of Cardiology at Amrita Hospital, Kochi. With a strong foundation in both interventional cardiology and electrophysiology, he has over two decades of experience in the field. He is highly proficient in performing a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including emergency and elective coronary angioplasties, peripheral angioplasties, permanent pacemaker and AICD implantation, and various electrophysiologic procedures. Dr. Praveen G Pai is also an active educator, coordinating MSc and BSc cardiovascular technician courses and teaching students across different levels of medical education.

• Presently working as interventional cardiologist and Electrophysiologist in Dept of Cardiology, AIMS
• Course Director of MSc & BSc Cardiovascular technician training programme at AIMS.

• Participated in EURO PCR 2005 conference held at Paris & EURO PCR 2007 at Barcelona
• Attended International Interventional Workshop at Cairo in Oct 2004 and in Ceylon in Dec 2004
• Participated in CRT workshop in Geneva, Switzerland in June 2007
• Participated in TCT – 2008 held at Washington & Cardiostim 2008 & 2010 held at Nice
• Participated as faculty in APHRS 2011, 2012 & 2013
• Attended focus meeting of Absorb stent in Rottardam, 2013.
