Dr. Gopikrishnan Anjaneyan

Dr. Gopikrishnan Anjaneyan is currently working as Additional Professor at Amrita Hospital, Kochi. He has been actively involved in research and has numerous publications to his credit in various national and international journals. He has also contributed in 8 books as author and section editor.

Presented papers and lectures in over 40 state, national and international conferences.

Received the quadrennial World Congress of Dermatology Scholarship two consecutive times and presented papers at Milan, Italy 2019 and Singapore in 2023.

Received the Imrich Sarkany Non-European Memorial Scholarship for European Association of Dermatology & Venereology and was selected for presentation at Spain EADV 2015.

He has held various positions at IADVL (Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL) and in the Kerala state IADVL and Cochin Dermatological Society. including Treasurer IADVL Kerala (2022-24), Executive committee member: IADVL Kerala state 2019-20, 2017-18, Joint secretary –IADVL Kerala state 2018-19, Web Admin IADVL Kerala 2021-2022, Convener, Constitution committee- IADVL Kerala state 2020-21, Member, National IADVL Quiz committee 2020-21, National IADVL website /software committee 2020, Secretary, Cochin dermatological Society 2018-2021, Treasurer, Cochin dermatological Society 2016-2018, Anti-quackery cell Kerala state coordinator 2018-20.

He has received the IADVL Kerala Presidential appreciation award for updating IADVL Kerala constitution and byelaws in 2020. He has been a part of organising committee of various national and state conferences including Dermacon and Cuticon and has been the Organising Secretary of International CME AAPUD 2021, MidCuticon 2022, SIG-Resistant Dermatophytosis Kochi 2019, SIG Trichology Kochi 2018 and monthly CMEs for Cochin dermatological Society 2018-2021.

He has presented more than 30 posters and presented over 40 lectures and oral presentations at various national, international, and state conferences.

• Winner of the Dr B.K. Hareendran Nair Award, in honor of a legendary teacher and pioneer in Kerala dermatology for his published work 'Methotrexate dosage and lab monitoring in patients with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis: a retrospective analysis of prescription patterns & financial impact in dermatology and rheumatology settings' 2025.
