Overview
Dr. Avani Pillai has undergone training in all advanced procedures of reproductive medicine and assisted conception. She has over 13 years of experience in the field of infertility, obstetrics and gynaecology. She completed her MBBS from K J Somaiya Medical College and Research Centre, Mumbai and did her postgraduation in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology from Government Medical College, Trivandrum.
She has attained the qualification of MRCOG (UK) and is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London. She completed her fellowship in IVF and Reproductive Medicine from Kiel University, Germany. She has completed a fellowship in minimal access surgery. She is also awarded as the fellow of Indian college of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
She is proficient in various languages including English, Hindi, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati and Punjabi.
Areas of expertise : Recurrent IVF failure, Poor ovarian reserve, Endometriosis, PCOS and male infertility including surgical sperm retrieval procedures.
