Amrita Hospital, Faridabad has been honoured with the Medical Value Travel (MVT) Specialist Hospital Award in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the 6th Annual FICCI Medical Value Travel Specialist Hospital Awards, during the 8th Advantage Healthcare India Expo in Greater Noida. This recognition places the hospital among the leading destinations in India for high-quality, value-driven reconstructive and plastic surgery care for patients from India and abroad.

FICCI established a rigorous award process for the applicants, which consisted of numerous submissions from institutions around the country across the various specialties; with shortlisted/selected institutions evaluated by a third party, EY (Ernst & Young), Inc. 

The Award for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery was presented by Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union Minister for Tourism and Culture, who discussed the importance of advanced surgical care as a vital component in establishing India as the premiere global Medical Value Travel destination.

The award recognizes Amrita Hospital, Faridabad as the Medical Value Travel Specialist Hospital for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the award was accepted by Dr. Anil Murarka, Head, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, in the presence of Dr. Mohit Sharma, Dr. Shikha Gupta, Dr. Devajyoti Guin and Dr. Anil Sharma.
It supports the hospital's vast capabilities in complex reconstructive surgery; restoring function and appearance for patients through aesthetic procedures; and utilizing multidisciplinary and patient-centered practices in the delivery of care.
