On August 29th, 2024, Amrita Hospital Faridabad's Department of Clinical Nutrition, in collaboration with the Celiac Support Organisation, hosted an impactful seminar titled "Advancing Celiac Disease Care: Comprehensive Strategies for Healthcare Professionals."

The event featured prominent guests. Guest of Honour Dr NK Arora, Executive Director, INCLEN, President of CSO, Dr Sushma Narayan, Secretary General CSO. The keynote address was delivered by Dr Govind Makharia, Prof at the Department of Gastroenterology and Human Nutrition, AIIMS and the Lead dietician address was delivered by Ms Anuja Agarwala, Sr. Nutrition Consultant, Genetic Metabolic Nutrition, Former Sr. Dietician (Pead), AIIMS. They both shared their insights about celiac disease and management in India. The session included a panel discussion, patient experiences practical tips for managing celiac kitchens and nutrition labelling, an initiative taken by CSO (Celiac Support Organisation). The symposium was attended by more than 100 delegates including multidisciplinary sectors like Doctors, Psychologists and Dieticians.
