Amrita Hospital actively participated in the government-led ‘Swasth Nari Shashakt Parivar’ initiative, a program dedicated to promoting women’s health, maternal care, and family well-being. Held from September 17 to October 2, 2025, at the Emergency Trauma Center, Amrita Hospital, and across outreach camps in Faridabad and Palwal, the initiative focused on preventive healthcare, awareness on menstrual hygiene, non-communicable diseases, and maternal and child health.

The hospital facilitated comprehensive health services, including free check-ups (BP, sugar, anemia, BMI), cancer screenings, antenatal consultations, dental and eye check-ups, blood donation drives, organ donation pledges, and health kit distributions. Awareness sessions on breast cancer, mental health, and menstrual hygiene engaged local women, while interactive consultations with doctors helped address individual health concerns. Dr. Deepti Sharma, HOD, Obstetrics & Gynecology, along with doctors from Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, and General Medicine departments, led these activities, supported by hospital administrators including Dr. Sanjeev Singh, Medical Director, and Dr. Ashutosh Sharma, Medical Administrator.

The program benefitted 617 women, 93 children, and a total of 1,339 participants, highlighting the impact of coordinated healthcare outreach. The event was graced by Shri Krishan Pal Gurjar, Minister of State, Ministry of Cooperation, along with representatives from partner organizations and community centers across Faridabad and Palwal.

Amrita Hospital reaffirmed its commitment to women’s health and empowerment, pledging to continue community outreach programs, health camps, and collaborations with the Ministry of Health to ensure quality care and education reach women and families in both urban and rural areas.
