
Amrita Hospital and Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Faridabad Campus came together to celebrate International Yoga Day 2025, with a gathering of over 350 attendees, including 320 students, faculty, and staff. The event was held with the theme "Yoga for One Earth, One Health," emphasizing the interconnectedness of individual wellness and the health of the planet.
The celebration commenced with an energizing yoga session, led by Swami Harshaamrita and conducted by Ms. Ankita Negi, who guided participants through a series of yoga practices and meditation exercises designed to promote both physical health and mental well-being. The event also featured a meditation dance performance by students from the Allied Sciences and Nursing departments, adding a cultural touch and enhancing the spiritual atmosphere of the day.
Key dignitaries attended the event, underscoring the importance of holistic health and wellness in today’s world. Their presence reinforced the idea that yoga is not only a practice for personal well-being but also a powerful tool to foster unity and compassion within communities.
At the conclusion of the event, Certificates of Participation were awarded to students and faculty who actively contributed to the success of the celebration, highlighting the collective effort to embrace yoga as a path to better health and wellness.
