Overview
Dr. Sachin Gupta is an Assistant Professor and Consultant Dermatologist at Amrita School of Medicine and Amrita Hospital, Faridabad. He completed his MBBS and MD in Dermatology at AIIMS, New Delhi, followed by DNB Dermatology.
His clinical interests include atopic dermatitis, paediatric dermatology, psoriasis, leprosy, dermatophytosis, hair and scalp disorders, dermoscopy, vitiligo surgery and procedural dermatology. His professional training includes hair transplantation, lasers and aesthetics, nail surgery, and artificial intelligence in healthcare.
He serves as Co-Principal Investigator in an ICMR-funded implementation research project on MIP vaccination among leprosy patients and their contacts in Haryana and Delhi. His research includes AI-assisted dermatology, digital health and clinical trials in atopic dermatitis. He collaborates with the Amrita School of AI on image-based diagnostic tools, patient triage and digital history-taking.
His academic development includes the ICMR Implementation Research Workshop and the 4th International Leprosy Training Program, China, in September 2026. He contributes to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, resident mentorship, clinical audits and community awareness activities. He has authored journal articles, a dermatology book and book chapters, and presented research at national and international meetings.
