Dr. Neeraj Narayan Mathur

Dr N N Mathur has a vast clinical, surgical, teaching and research experience of 40 years in the field of Ear Nose Throat and Head Neck surgery in some of the most reputed teaching and training institutes including Maulana Azad Med College, JIPMER, Lady Hardinge Med College, BPKIHS Nepal and VMMC & Safdarjung Hosp. In addition, he has also headed two medical colleges in Delhi viz VMMC and LHMC as Principal and Director respectively. 

He is a graduate and postgraduate from Maulana Azad Med College, New Delhi. Recipient of Graham Fraser fellowship in Cochlear Implants at Royal National Throat Nose Ear Hospital London, Commonwealth fellowship in Paediatric Otolaryngology at Great Ormond St Hospital for sick children London, ICMR fellowship at Cincinnatti Children’s Hospital OH, and WHO fellowship at House Ear Institute LA, Dr Mathur has undergone several in-service trainings at various institutes in USA and UK mainly in the field of Paediatric Otolaryngology and Cochlear Implants. 

Dr Mathur has published several research papers and presented and participated in many national and international conferences and chaired many scientific sessions. He has been the UG and PG examiner for 33 years in different Universities, and has organized several workshops and conferences. 

Dr Mathur’s main areas of interest are Paediatric otolaryngology, paediatric airway reconstructive surgery, Surgery for Vocal cord palsy, Voice surgeries, Cochlear implants, Paediatric ENT tumors including nasopharyngeal angiofibroma, Tympanoplasty, Tinnitus and vertigo therapy, Skull base surgery, Endoscopic sinus surgery and Head Neck surgery. 

Dr. Mathur has more than 100 scientific publications, book chapters and presentations, in various national and international journals.
