Dr. Jitin Narula

Dr. Jitin Narula is a highly trained cardiac anesthesiologist who has gained immense academic and clinical experience at best medical colleges and research institutes in India. After completing his graduation from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, he moved on to pursue his post-graduation training in Anesthesiology and critical care from Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. While working at PGIMER Chandigarh, he developed a passion for cardiac anesthesiology. He was then selected for the DM Cardiac Anesthesiology course at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He, now has more than 10 years of experience in Cardiac Anesthesiology and Cardiac Critical Care and has been dedicatedly working in this field in various super specialty hospitals in Delhi NCR like Max Super Specialty Hospital, Patparganj and Narayana Super Specialty Hospital, Gurugram. 

He is an excellent clinician and academician, and has authored more than 30 publications in various national and international journals and has also authored various cardiac-anesthesiology book chapters. He cleared the fellowship examination in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology (FIACTA) and the fellowship examination in Transesophageal Echocardiography (FTEE) organized by the Indian Association of Cardio Thoracic Anesthesiologists in 2015. He also passed the European Diplomate in Anesthesia and Intensive Care examination organized by the European Society of Anesthesiology in 2017.

He specializes in anesthesia for cardiac surgeries and complex cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures and cardiac critical care. He is an expert in securing central venous catheters and arterial catheters for advanced hemodynamic monitoring andextra-corporeal life support and also has good expertise in transesophageal echocardiography and 3D echocardiography.
