Overview
Dr. Sachin Kumar Jain is professor & HOD with the Department of Endocrinology at Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, and has done his MBBS and MD from the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College New Delhi. He has over 38 years of clinical experience in diagnosing and managing endocrine and medical disorders. In research, he has guided and supervised more than 40 postgraduate students’ dissertations for MD in medicine, pharmacology, pathology, orthopedics, and ENT. He has also done work on insulin resistance and established a euglycemic clamp for studying insulin resistance and Vitamin D deficiency in various medical conditions. Talking about awards and accolades, Dr. Jain has won many awards and distinctions during education, training, and work. He was also awarded Common Wealth Medical Fellowship to study diabetes and endocrinology.
More than 150 papers and abstracts have been published in national and international journals. Written several book chapters for updates and text books in Medicine.
