Overview
Dr. Bhanu Sharma is an Assistant Professor in General Surgery at Amrita Hospital and a dedicated surgeon trained in modern, evidence-based surgical practice. He completed his MBBS from Gajra Raja Medical College, Gwalior, followed by DNB from prestigious St. Stephen’s Hospital, New Delhi, and holds MMAS (Hernia) certification, reflecting focused expertise in hernia surgery.
He has served as a Senior Resident at Amrita Hospital for three years and has previously worked at St. Stephen’s Hospital and Moolchand Hospital, gaining extensive clinical and operative experience.
His special interests include hernia surgery and laparoscopic (minimally invasive) procedures. He routinely manages a wide range of surgical conditions, including hernias, gallbladder stones, appendicitis, anorectal disorders, breast and thyroid conditions, and other abdominal pathologies.
