Dr. Arun Sharma is a Consultant & Assistant Professor, Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Amrita Hospital, Faridabad. He did his graduation from Manipal University (2005) and finished Master of Dental Surgery (Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery) from KLE University, Belgaum in 2009. He is also KLE University trained Oral and Maxillofacial Implantologist (2009)He has over 13 years of experience in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He had the privilege of working with various Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Units in Delhi and has been associated with the field for many years. He has been working in the field of Cleft and craniofacial surgery for over 10 years.
In his quest to learn, he has travelled to various other countries and visited premiere craniofacial centres in UK & Taiwan.He has worked as an integral part of Craniofacial team at BLK Max Superspecialty Hospital for over 8 years and treated various congenital facial anomaly patients. He holds expertise in managing all kinds of facial trauma and orthognathic surgery.
He has been working in close association with many dentists and has been treating various dental-origin infections and pathologies. He has rehabilitated many complex dental deformities using dental implants, grafting and complex implant placements like pterygoid or zygomatic implants.
He is a tech-savvy doctor who likes to bring precision to his work with amalgamation of surgeon skills and bleeding-edge technology.He strongly believes, “empathy is the medicine the world needs”

Facial Trauma: He specializes in the treatment of facial fractures resulting from accidents, sports injuries, and other traumatic incidents. He utilizes advanced techniques, including facial reconstruction and facial implant surgery, to restore both functionality and aesthetics.
Orthognathic Surgery / Profiloplasty: With a keen understanding of jaw deformities and malocclusion, Dr. Arun performs corrective procedures to improve the alignment and function of the jaws. Orthognathic surgery can address conditions such as underbite, overbite, and facial asymmetry. His craniomaxillofacial team has successfully accomplished multiple Total joint replacement (TJR) using CAD- CAM (computer aided designing and computer aided machining) techniques and navigation
Craniosynostosis: As an expert in craniofacial surgery, Dr. Arun specializes in the treatment of craniosynostosis, a condition where the sutures of the skull fuse prematurely. He performs intricate cranial vault reconstruction surgeries to correct skull shape abnormalities and optimize brain development. The focus of our craniofacial team is to provide holistic and compassionate care for the extremely young patients undergoing this treatment.
