Dr. Aditi Poddar Sharma

Dr. Aditi Poddar Sharma has been practicing orthodontist since 2009 and is a surgical orthodontist. She has been working with her current team of Craniomaxillofacial surgeons since 2012. She has been providing orthodontics care to patients born with cleft lip and palate and various other craniofacial anomalies since 2011. In her pursuit to hone her skills she has visited renowned cleft and craniofacial institutes in India and abroad.

Her practice is directed towards providing continuous orthodontics intervention to complex craniomaxillofacial surgery patients at various intervals from birth to adulthood e.g. palatal expansion, growth modification appliances, impacted teeth eruptions etc. She has been extensively trained in handling the orthodontics and 3 dimensional CAD-CAM orthognathic surgery planning of diverse congenital and developmental facial anomalies. She has special interest in complex orthodontics requiring interdisciplinary care. She and her surgical team have expertise of more than a decade in handling ‘surgery first orthognathic approach’, Temporomandibular Joint Reconstruction with concomitant orthognathic surgery and Distraction osteogenesis.
