Initiated in 2017, this programme is now in its 10th cycle year. This is a MTI-approved post by the GMC and the RCoA, UK, and is PLAB-exempt. The candidate will be remunerated appropriately at both centres in their local currencies, respectively.

The Walton Centre is recognised by the International Council on Perioperative Neuroscience Training (ICPNT).

Eligibility Criteria

  • Post MD/DNB
  • IELTS/OET
  • Prior Neuroanaesthesia exposure is desirable (DM/PDF Neuroanaesthesia)
  • Haryana Medical Council registration to be done immediately on admission to the course.

The selected candidate spends 12 months at The Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, and the subsequent 12 months at The Walton Centre for Neurosciences, NHS Trust, Liverpool.

The fellowship programme provides a rich experience in Neuroanaesthesia training for Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM), Functional Neurosurgery (DBS & Epilepsy Surgery), Neuro-oncology, Complex Paediatric Cranio-facial surgery, Neonatal surgery, Spine surgery (minimally invasive & corrective surgery), Neuro-radiological intervention, and Neurocritical Care.
