He has characterized and described the syndrome of autoimmune atypical parkinsonism. He has developed the diagnostic criteria for intracranial infectious (mycotic) aneurysm.

Autoimmune neurology - immune mediated peripheral and central nervous system disorders - autoimmune parkinsonism, autoimmune ataxia, multisystem neurological disorder (multiaxial), myasthenia gravis, Guillan Barre syndrome, CIDP, other immune mediated neuropathy, neuromyelitis optica (NMO), acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM), paraneoplastic neurological syndrome, autoimmune encephalopathy and autoimmune dementia.
