Dr Aayush Chawla is an Anaesthesiologist and Intensivist who has more than 10 years of work experience in the field of Critical Care Medicine. He did his MBBS and MD (Anaesthesiology) from the prestigious Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He later worked as a Consultant in Fortis Escorts Hospital, Faridabad and Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi. During these years he got well trained in managing critically ill patients admitted to ICU and has played an important role in saving many lives. He developed a passion in the field of Critical Care Medicine and has been involved in academic activities throughout his career.


He has been a faculty in several state and national conferences. He is a founder member of Fluid Academy of India which promotes academic activities in judicious use of intravenous fluids. He has special interest in airway management, hemodynamic monitoring, mechanical ventilation and ultrasonography in ICU. He has been a strong promoter of antibiotic stewardship and infection control practices in hospital.
